PROFIenergy profile extension for the CompactCom Profinet module

HMS(www.anybus.com) expands the functionality of the CompactCom 2-port Profinet IO module by adding support for the PROFIenergy profile. The built-in PROFIenergy profile server supports the PNO profile defined parameters and services for controlling the energy consumption of automation devices including the PROFIenergy state machine.

By choosing to implement Anybus-CompactCom Profinet with support for the new PROFIenergy CompactCom module, customers will automatically get access to all major industrial networks, since the module is part of the CompactCom family of interchangeable modules. The PROFIenergy profile is also available to the many device manufacturers who have already integrated support for Anybus-CompactCom into their devices. To support the PROFIenergy profile, these existing CompactCom customers only need to make a minor software change to the application in the host device.

The PROFIenergy implementation follows the requirements of the AIDA (Automation Initiative of German Automomobilhersteller) merged firms Audi, BMW, Daimler, Porsche and VW. The PROFIenergy functions are implemented with software version 1.20 and are available from February 2011.

Navitas GaN ICs drive Samsung Galaxy S22 fast charging

Navitas Semiconductor has announced that its GaNFast technology has been selected for Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra and S22+ smartphones. The small, powerful 45W Super Fast charger has the highest power density of any Samsung charger, enabled by GaNFast power ICs. The S22 Ultra, with 6.8″ screen and 5,000 mAhr battery, and the S22+ (6.6″ screen, 4,500 mAhr) are the latest-generation flagship smartphones from Samsung. The GaNFast 45W charger (model #EP-T4510) delivers fast-charging power across the complete USB-PD and PPS specification. Measuring only 47.4 x 27.9 x 43.6 mm (57.7 cc) the new Samsung fast charger achieves a power density over 1 W/cc. Soteria consortium partnership builds lithium-ion batteries with 26% higher energy density and >80% less copper and aluminum

DuPont Electronics & Industrial, Steinerfilm and Polaris Battery Labs have combined their capabilities to build batteries that have 26% higher energy density and use 80% less copper and aluminum than comparable batteries made with traditional materials. The improved energy density will increase the range of electric vehicles, make electric aviation more feasible and improve portable electronics.  More significantly, as electric vehicles grow more prevalent, this technology can reduce the dependence on scarce metals such as copper and aluminum that are needed for the other parts of the electric vehicles. With copper consumption in electric vehicles predicted to increase to 4 million tons annually by 2040, this could save millions of tons of copper. The current collectors were made from thermally stable, high strength DuPont™ Kapton® polyimide film, metallized by Steinerfilm to have 500 nm of metal on each side.  At 5 microns total thickness, they are the lightest, thinnest current collectors for lithium-ion batteries available, and use only 17% of the aluminum and copper used in normal batteries. 광학 솔루션의 글로벌 리더인 ams OSRAM이 AS7343 출시로 분광 센서 포트폴리오를 광범위하게 확장했다. 이 센서는 멀티 채널 색상 분석과 XYZ 센서 기술을 결합해 육안으로 빛의 색상과 강도를 측정하는 에이엠에스 오스람의 최초의 제품이다.  색도계, 휴대용 분광계, 소비자 기기에 채용되면 AS7343은 컬러매칭, 조명 제어 및 분광 분석의 응용 분야 사용자에게 생산성, 유연성, 기능성을 제공하게 된다. 이 신제품 다목적 센서는 빈번하고 정확한 측정이 필요한 응용 분야의 색상 분석용으로  이상적이다. 예를 들어, 온실이나 실내 농장에서는 원예용 조명의 분광 특성을 최적화하고 수확량과 에너지 효율성을 극대화하기 위해 색상 분석을 사용한다. 다양한 농작물의 성장은 가시 광선 스펙트럼의 여러 다른 기능으로 인해 촉진된다.  “AS7343은 농작물에 방사된 빛의 스펙트럼 측정을 빠르고 정확하게 제공한다. 이로 인해 본 센서는 각기 다른 식물 종에 적합한 빛의 요건과 매칭된다.” 고 언급한 ams OSRAM의 광학 센서 사업부 선임 마케팅 매니저인 케빈 젠슨(Kevin Jensen)은 “조명 설정은 필요에 따라 해당되는 스펙트럼에서 빛이 나오도록 조정될 수  있다”고 설명했다. 정밀한 스펙트럼 분석을 수행하는 소형 칩 14채널 AS7343은 3.1mm x 2mm x 1mm 플랫 패키지에 하우징된 칩이다. 이 칩은 광원 또는 반사광의 분광스펙트럼을 측정하는 분광기와 같은 기능을 하며  NIR채널 및 XYZ 기능을 포함해 가시 광선 스펙트럼에는 12개 동일한 간격의 측정 채널이 있다.  이전 제품 AS7341과는 다르게 AS7343는 멀티 채널 스펙트럼 센서와 XYZ 기술이 결합되었다. XYZ 채널은 육안으로 색상을 인식하는 표준 모델인 CIE 1931 XYZ 색상 공간에 일치한다. AS7343은 색 좌표로 알려진 XYZ 값을 직접 생성하는 기능으로 사용자에게 전체 스펙트럼 분석 또는 더 간단한 색상 스윕을 선택할 수 있는 유연성을 제공한다. 젠슨 매니저는 “AS7343을 사용하면 관심있는 대표적인 색상을  빠르게 전환하거나 필요에 따라 전체 해상도로 측정할 수 있다. 또한 센서의 멀티채널 기능을 통해 사용자는 메타메리즘(metamerism) 이라고 하는 잘못된 색상 매칭에 대한 육안의 민감성도 보정할 수 있으므로 더 정확한 색상 재현이 가능하다“고 강조했다. AS7343은 모든 광원과 반사광의 특징적인 스팩트럼 시그니처를 생성한다. 최대 6개의 채널을 동시에 사용할 수 있으므로 보다 유연한 사용이 가능하다. 이 신제품은 이전의 AS7341보다 최대 4배 민 감도가 높아 스펙트럼 전반에 걸쳐 보다 균형잡힌 색상 인식과 신호 분석이 향상되었다. 또한 자동 ADC 재구성은 더 빠른 멀티 채널 판독을 가능케 한다. 센서 크기가 작기 때문에 공간 제약이 있는 응용 분야에 적용하기 간편한 것도 또 다른 특징이다. 광범위한 응용 원예 조명과 같은 응용 분야에서는 일반적으로 분광 스펙트럼의 고해상도 측정을 제공하는  단일 센서 만으로도 충분하다. 그러나 더 높은 해상도가 필요한 경우, 두 개 이상의 AS7343 소자의 필터 반응 곡선을 겹치도록 구성하면 각 채널의 대역폭을 줄이고 측정 해상도를 높일 수 있다. 이 기술은 AS7341과 함께 사용 가능하다. 온세미가업계 최고 수준의 성능으로 전도(conduction) 및 스위칭 손실을 최소화하는 새로운 초고효율 1200V 절연 게이트 바이폴라 트랜지스터(insulated-gate bipolar transistors, 이하 IGBT)를 발표했다.  해당 디바이스는 고속 스위칭 애플리케이션의 효율성을 향상시키기 위해 주로 태양광 인버터, 무정전 전원 공급 장치(UPS), 에너지 저장 장치 및 전기차(EV) 충전 전력 변환과 같은 에너지 인프라 애플리케이션에 사용될 예정이다. 새로운 1200V 트렌치 필드 스톱(Trench Field Stop) VII(이하 FS7) IGBT는 고전압(부스트 스테이지)에 대한 입력을 증가시키는 데 사용되며, 인버터는 높은 스위칭 주파수 에너지 인프라 애플리케이션에서 AC 출력을 제공한다. Efficient Power Conversion (EPC) unveiled two new 100 V power stage ICs rated at 15 A (EPC23104) and 25 A (EPC23103). The two devices join the 100 V 35 A power stage IC EPC23102 offered by EPC. The three ICs are capable of a maximum withstand voltage of 100 V and integrate a complete GaN half-bridge power stage that includes symmetrical FETs in half bridge configuration, half bridge driver, level shifter, bootstrap charging, and input logic interface. The three devices feature a thermally enhanced QFN package measuring only 3.5 mm x 5 mm with exposed top for dual side cooling and wettable flanks. Footprint compatibility enables customers to upgrade their design for better performance or lower cost without modification to the board, and therefore can easily adapt to changing load requirements. Ideal Power has received over 70 patents worldwide for the topology and method of operation of a new kind of semiconductor power switch, which we call a Bidirectional Bipolar Junction Transistor (B-TRANTM), a novel four quadrant power switch with ultra-low forward voltage and low switching losses that can be used in both unidirectional and bidirectional switching applications. B-TRANTM offers a significant performance improvement over conventional powerswitchessuch as SCRs, IGBTs and MOSFETs, as implemented in silicon or wide-band-gap materials such as silicon carbide. 0.6V VCE(on) at 30A load current has been demonstrated in silicon with driving power of 8.4W (1.2V x 7A). 오로직, 바이코의 고밀도 전력 솔루션으로 로봇 혁명 이끌어

2022년 전기차 및 ESS 시장 배터리 업체별 판매 실적

전기차 시장은 2021년 392GWh에서 2022년 690GWh로 76% 성장하였고, ESS시장은 중국 및 북미시장의 활황으로 2021년 44GWh에서 2022년 122GWh로 177%의 고성장을 이루었다. 전기차뿐만 아니라 ESS 분야에서도 중국 시장이 급성장하며, 중국 배터리 업체들이 전년대비 대폭 성장하였다. 반면 Global 배터리 선두업체인 LG에너지솔루션(LGES)과 Panasonic의 성장율은 각 19%와 4%에 그치며 시장성장율 86%과 큰 차이를 보였다. 이는 중국 외 Global 전기차 시장의 성장율이 중국 대비 상대적으로 저조하였으며, 특히 한국 3사의 주력 시장인 유럽 전기차 시장의 성장률이 둔화된 가운데, 중국 배터리 기업 및 중국 전기차 업체들이 해외 시장을 적극적으로 개척하면서 중국 외 Global 시장에서도 중국업체의 위상이 높아졌다. 전기차의 경우, 중국 CATL의 중국 외 Global 시장에서의 점유율이 2021년 14%에서 2022년 22%로 LGES에 이어 2위를 기록하였고, BYD, SAIC, 장성자동차 등 중국의 전기차 업체들도 유럽 및 아시아 시장에 전기차 판매를 확대하고 있다. SNE리서치는 “ESS는 신재생 발전과 연계한 안전성 기반의 저출력 시장이 확대되면서 LFP 배터리의 선호도가 높아지면서 LFP 배터리를 생산하는 중국업체들의 성장이 두드려졌다. 향후에도 LFP 배터리로의 전환은 더욱 가속화할 전망”이라고 밝혔다. 배터리 업체별 판매 실적으로는 중국 CATL이 작년에 이어 금년에도 1위를 기록하였고, 시장 점유율이 2021년 30%에서 2022년 40%까지 올라가면서 2위 LG에너지솔루션과 격차를 더욱 확대하였다. 엘지엔솔은 시장 점유율이 12.4%로 중국 BYD 12.1%를 근소하게 제치고 2위를 유지하였으며, BYD가 2021년대비 165% 고성장하면서 3위로 올라섰다. 파나소닉과 삼성SDI, SK On이 4~6위를 기록하였으며 3사간의 Gap이 크지 않아 치열한 순위 싸움이 예상된다. 최근 급 부상중인 CALB가 7위를 기록하였고, Guoxuan, EVE, Sunwoda등 중국 업체들이 그 뒤를 이으며 Global Top 10 업체에 올랐다. ESS의  글로벌 판매실적에서도 국내 업체들의 부진이 나타났다. 2020년까지만 해도 글로벌 시장에서의 한국 업체(삼성SDI/LG에너지솔루션)의 시장 점유율은 50% 이상을 기록하였으나, 2021년부터 CATL을 비롯한 중국 업체들이 글로벌 시장에 LFP 배터리를 활용한 저가 공세를 펼치며 북미시장에서도 LFP 배터리가 대세가 되었다.  중국 ESS시장 또한, 중국정부의 14차 5개년 실행계획 추진으로 신재생 발전용량의 10% 이상에 대해 ESS 설치를 해야 하며, 이를 달성하기 위해 각 성 및 도시에서는 보조금 정책이 계속 확대되어 나오고 있다. 2023년 1월 非중국 글로벌 전기차 인도량 31.2만대, 전년 대비 28.6% 성장

2023년 1월 중국을 제외한 세계 각국에 차량 등록된 전기차 총 대수는 31.2만대로 전년 대비 28.6% 상승한 것으로 나타났다. SNE의 Tracker를 기반으로 예측한 Global EV & Battery Monthly Forecast에 따르면 2023년 전기차 인도량은 약 589.6만대 수준으로 전망됐다. 2023년 1월 비(非)중국 시장에서 테슬라의 주력 모델인 Model 3/Y의 판매량이 테슬라의 성장률을 견인하며 전년 대비 75.3% 성장하며 1위 자리를 지켰다. 폭스바겐, 아우디, 스코다 등이 속한 폭스바겐 그룹은 전년 대비 16.1% 성장률을 기록하며 2위에 올랐다. 3위로는 푸조, 지프, 피아트 등이 속한 스텔란티스 그룹으로 전년 대비 4.4% 성장하였다. 특히 푸조의 e-208 모델과 지프의 랭글러 4xe의 판매 호조가 주 요인으로 작용했다. 지난 달 3위에 올랐던 현대기아는 2023년 전기차 보조금 감축 및 폐지를 시행한 독일과 한국의 판매량이 큰 폭으로 감소하며 5위를 기록했다. 보조금 정책 변화로 인한 판매량 감소는 현대기아 그룹 뿐만 아니라 독일의 다임러 그룹의 판매량에도 악영향을 미치며 Top 10 그룹에서 나란히 역성장을 기록했다. 지난해 미니 전기차 시장 공략 성공으로 고성장을 이룬 SAIC (상하이자동차)의 경우 영국과 프랑스 등 유럽에서 MG의 SUV 모델인 HS의 판매 호조를 통해 올해 1월 역시 세 자릿수 성장률을 기록했다. 각 지역 모두 전년 대비 전기차 인도량의 증가로 성장세를 이어갔다. 점차 확대되는 전기차 시장에 이어 뒤따르는 충전 시장이 급성장할 것으로 전망된다. 미국의 IRA 법안에도 보조금 지급 조건에 충전기 생산과 관련한 조항이 포함됐다. 유럽의 EU 집행위는 2030년 공용 충전 지점을 300만 곳으로 확대하는 목표를 세웠다. 한국은 주차 공간 중 충전기 의무 설치 비중이 점차 확대될 예정이고 일본은 급속충전 규제를 완화하여 충전 인프라를 개선할 계획으로 알려졌다. 전기차 충전 인프라가 전세계적으로 개선됨에 따라 전기차 시장의 성장에 미칠 영향과 향후 함께 등장할 […] 이 글 공유하기:전자우편인쇄Facebook트위터LinkedInPinterest더Tumblr구글

전기차 무선 충전 분야 전문 회사인 WiTricity가 중국 위통의 자율주행 e-버스에 무선 충전 기능을 제공하는 중국 최고의 버스 브랜드인 YuTong Bus(위통 버스)와 협력한다. 이번 협력은 자율주행 전기 e-버스에 무선 충전 기능을 최초로 상업적으로 적용한 것으로 WiTricity는 세계에서 가장 발전된 대중교통 시스템 중 하나에서 핵심 기능을 제공한다. WiTricity CEO 알렉스 그루젠(Alex Gruzen)은 위통 버스와 함께 대규모로 무선 충전 전원 자율성에 대한 첫 번째 실제 시연 장면을 보게 되어 흥분된다며 자율성 기술이 발전함에 따라 충전 및 서비스의 실행 계획이 더 중요해질 것이고 자사의 무선 전기차 충전이 전기화된 차세대 운송 및 물류를 더욱 앞당길 것이라고 언급했다. 위통의 전기 버스에 무선 충전을 상용화시킨 것은 중국 정저우에서 샤오위 2.0(Xiaoyu 2.0) 자율주행 미니버스를 통해 첫 선을 보일 예정이다. 10명의 승객을 태울 수 있는 레벨4 자율주행 버스의 주행 거리는 150km이다. WiTricity Halo®는 플러그를 꽂을 필요가 없으므로 충전이 간편하다. 이는 특히 미끄러지고 넘어질 수 있는 무겁고 복잡한 코드 및 케이블이 있는 운송 작업 현장에 중요한 부분이다. 따라서 상업용 자동차 운전자들이 근로자 보상 청구를 요구할 여지가 없어진다. 전 세계적으로 자율주행 셔틀 및 버스가 운송 작업 현장에 사용되는 것이 늘어남에 따라 무선 충전 기능은 도로에 이러한 차량이 계속 다닐 수 있도록 핵심적인 역할을 할 것이다.
